Pacifica Beaches Closed as of Tues AM

Word has it Pacifica Beaches did officially close this morning.  Clean ups took place at Sharp Park and Mussel Beaches.  This Linda Mar photo was taken right after the police showed up and closed the beaches.  What a nice day, bummer. – Sources: B.O’rourke, LizelleS.

Pacifica: Globs Washing Up Monday! – Updates Needed

Per Grant Washburn, here’s his pic of the goo he found washing up by Pacifica’s Sharp Park Pier yesterday (Monday 11/12).  We’d love any other reports of oil in the Pacifica/HMB area.  Hmm, will it be safe to surf Mavericks and hold a contest this year??
